A discussion as to which class of organisms (plant or animal) would be expected to have the greater tolerance range for temperature changes. Provide a reason to support your answer.
Different species are found from various areas, their environment are set for each species to survive and reproduce. Plants have the greater tolerance of temperature changes than animals simply because plants are unable to evade the changes within its environment so it needs to learn how to adapt and change according to its own environmental change. If they are successful, they will be adjusted to their new environment, if not, the plants will die. Animals are able to evade the environment or learn to adapt to its changes, so the animal has a choice whether it chooses to adapt to its environmental temperature or relocate to find a better environmental for its needs.
With reference to both animal species
A separate section in which you provide a discussion as to why the two animal species have different adaptations.
Frilled Neck Lizard & Leafy Sea Dragon:
Both of these animal species have different adaptations firstly because the frilled neck lives on land and the sea dragon lives in water. Though, these animals have different adaptations because of their unique structures that both have which distinguishes both the frilled neck lizard and the leafy sea dragon. As the frilled neck lizard has a frill that opens up when it is being threatened which is an adaption to scare off predators, the leafy sea dragon also has a structure where it enables the whole body of the sea dragon is resemble seaweed or kelp. These structures are what distinguish the species adaptations. Being able to learn to survive, these are how the species learn to survive. Frilled Neck Lizard |
